Why the rantings.

I guess I should say why I have started to write these rants as I call them.

They are just exactly what I call them rants. They are just the thoughts that are going through my head when I think of things that are happening on the web tools people are using and hopefully if I have time examples of uses of these tools. For example the Flickr demo that I linked to from the first rant (Death of the personal web site?) although it could have also been used in the API and feeds entry that followed.

These are just my own personal thoughts and not necessarily the view of people who work in the web industry.

At some point I will open up these thoughts to allow people to comment on them and allow me to get some feedback. These comments may help to cement my thoughts or maybe to dismiss them as fantasy, hopefully the former rather than the later.
